Report bugs and earn Heritage Points
A short summary of the bug bounty. The full program is on its own page.
The bug bounty rewards players who find and report real problems: stuck quests, missing drops, wrong dialogue, translation errors, crashes and exploits. The full rules are on the Bug bounty page. This is a summary, and the point scale is still a proposal that may change.
Who can take part
Only game accounts linked to Discord. On the Account page you get a code (valid for 10 minutes) and type /link <code> in our Discord server. The game account must be older than 3 days and the Discord account older than 30 days, one for one.
How to report
- Choose a category (quest, drop or item, script/NPC/portal, exploit or security, translation, interface, performance, other).
- Write a title, what happened and what should have happened, the steps to reproduce, and where it happened (map, quest, NPC, item, with ids if you know them).
- Add evidence: a screenshot, a video link or a log.
- Optional: a suggested fix. An approved fix earns a bonus.
- Exploits and security problems go through a private form, never in a public channel.
What happens next
Every report is triaged: format, duplicates, whether it is already on the roadmap, then an investigation. The final decision is made by a person, not by the bot. Only the first report of a bug counts. Using an exploit instead of reporting it loses the points and can lead to a ban.
Points (proposal)
| Level | Points |
|---|---|
| 0, informative (typo, small detail) | 5 |
| 1, low (wrong translation, odd drop rate) | 15 |
| 2, medium (quest stuck with a workaround, missing script, item that does not drop) | 40 |
| 3, high (quest stuck without workaround, crash, lost progress) | 100 |
| 4, critical (item or meso duplication, server crash, security) | 300 to 1000 |
The points stay on your account for when the official server opens. How they are exchanged for rewards is not decided yet.
